When installing this unit, it is important to note that it comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley. This means that a slightly shorter drive belt will be required for proper belt tension. Failure to use the correct shorter belt may result in very low or no output and create extra workload for the alternator. Additionally, sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed is not recommended.

To install this alternator, simply connect the included 1-wire P101 harness to a tested 12V switched source and plug in the included P103 module into the vehicle's 2-pin original alternator wiring harness. No check battery light, no computer-controlled voltage swings. You get the voltage you want, when you want it!
