It's important to note that the U Series Amplifiers require specific charging upgrades. We recommend alternator upgrades, the Big 3 wiring upgrade, and added battery capacity to avoid damaging drops in voltage and/or current. The amplifier requires between 12-14.8V from the charging system, making AGM 12V batteries or lithium batteries a suitable choice.

Although the circuit board has a water-resistant coating to protect against humidity or small amounts of incidental moisture, please note that the U Series Amplifiers do not have an IP rating. They should not be submerged or used in saltwater environments.
