The U1-3000 is part of our Utility Series Amplifiers, specifically designed to drive the full frequency range of music to more than just subwoofers. To ensure optimal performance, it's crucial to know the specifications of your charging system. We recommend upgrading your alternator, performing a Big 3 wiring upgrade, and adding battery capacity to avoid damaging drops in voltage and/or current. The U Series Amplifiers require between 12-14.8 V from the charging system, making AGM 12V batteries or lithium batteries that don't require high voltage excellent choices when running a full-range amp.

While the circuit board of the U Series Amplifiers has a water-resistant coating to protect against humidity or incidental moisture, it's important to be cautious about water exposure. These amplifiers do not have an IP rating, so submersion or exposure to saltwater environments should be completely avoided.
