The 400 Amp Red Billet Alternator is a high-performance alternator designed specifically for 14-18 GM Trucks. Unlike most alternators, this product is custom-built to order, ensuring optimal performance and durability. The standard build time for this alternator is 2-3 weeks, but if you require it sooner, you can contact a sales associate to inquire about in-stock options.
Please note that this alternator comes equipped with a smaller 1.75-inch diameter alternator pulley. As a result, a slightly shorter drive belt is required for proper belt tension. Failure to use the correct shorter belt could result in low to no output and put additional strain on the alternator. It is also important to mention that sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed is not recommended for this alternator.

This alternator features the more robust 4-pin style regulator, unlike the OE 2-pin ECU controlled alternator. This ensures there is no extreme voltage fluctuation, as it bypasses the RVC charging system on all 2005 and newer GM truck applications. Installation is made easy with the included 1 wire P101 harness and P103 module, which eliminate the need for computer-controlled voltage swings and provide the voltage you need, when you need it.
