Description

The S Series 240 Amp Alternator for 5.3L FWD GM Car is a high-performance alternator that is designed to provide incredible output in a compact and durable package. Unlike conventional 3 phase alternators, the S Series alternators are highly efficient and use less horsepower, making them more energy-efficient.

With 12 diodes and twin rectifier plates, these alternators offer outstanding airflow and ensure a long service life, even in severe conditions. They are built to withstand the demands of everyday driving, providing reliable and consistent performance.

The S Series alternators are available in three different configurations - 170 amp, 240 amp, and 320 amp - to suit a broad range of domestic and import applications. The 240 amp model, in particular, offers the best balance between peak output and output at engine idle RPM, making it ideal for use in the 5.3L FWD GM Car.

Please note that the S Series alternators are not compatible with external regulators. If you require external regulation, please make sure to specify it when placing your order.

Installation of the S Series 240 Amp Alternator is straightforward, but it is essential to note that it comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley. As a result, a slightly shorter drive belt will be required to ensure proper belt tension.

Most alternators are custom built to order, with a standard build time of 2-3 weeks. However, if you require an alternator sooner than that, please contact a sales associate to see if any in-stock options are available.

Overall, the S Series 240 Amp Alternator for 5.3L FWD GM Car is a reliable and high-performance alternator that offers the perfect balance between output and efficiency. With its durable construction and efficient design, it is sure to meet the demands of your vehicle's electrical system.
