Audio Control LC6i

The Audio Control LC6i is a 6-channel line output converter that is designed to simplify OEM integration and provide high-quality pre-amp signals. Featuring internal summing capabilities and improved GTO™ signal-sense turn-on, this converter is perfect for solving OEM headaches.

The LC6i follows in the footsteps of the successful LC8 Eight Channel Line Output Converter and offers all of the same features for 6-channel systems at a reduced price. It accepts speaker level signals, whether crossed-over or full range, and converts them into high-quality pre-amp signals. It can also sum together signals from factory radios with built-in crossovers to provide a full-range preamp signal.

One of the advantages of using the LC6i is that it provides clean pre-amp signals that installers are familiar with. If you desire custom control over the sound, you can easily add AudioControl's crossovers or equalizers, which offer unlimited system design flexibility.

The LC6i comes with a range of features, including a high current 12-volt trigger output, internal channel summing, GTO™ signal sensing inputs, speaker level inputs that can accept 400 watt signals, level matching controls, six input and output channels, AutoMode™ which turns a 4-channel input into a 6-channel output, and an input for optional subwoofer level control.

In terms of specifications, the LC6i has three speaker level inputs, with a maximum speaker level input of 400W per channel at 4Ω and an input impedance of 20kΩ. It also has three preamp outputs, with a maximum output level of 9.5Vrms and an output gain of ±12dB. Its performance includes a total harmonic distortion of 0.01% and a frequency response of 10Hz to 22kHz.

The LC6i is powered by a high headroom PWM switching power supply and has a current draw of 200mA. It is recommended to use a 1A fuse. It has dimensions of 8"W x 6"D x 1.2"H and weighs 2.0 lbs.
