The LCD Bass Meter Second Edition is a handheld spectrum analyzer with SPL measuring function, designed to provide accurate noise level and sound pressure measurements at low frequencies. This portable noise meter is completely autonomous, powered by batteries or through a USB connection. It features a bright display with a backlight for easy viewing in any environment.
With a frequency range from 10 to 120 Hz and an amplitude range from 120 to 185 dB, the LCD Bass Meter SE is calibrated according to TERM-LAB standards, ensuring accuracy and reliability. It also offers the option to connect NEXT-LAB sensors for even more precise measurements.
Data transfer to a PC is possible, thanks to the USB port, and the device comes with free software that allows you to analyze and interpret the collected data. The LCD Bass Meter SE is compatible with the NEXT-LAB SPL Pressure Sensor, which is included in the kit, providing results with an impressive accuracy of 0.1 dB.
The LCD Bass Meter SE is designed with ergonomics in mind. It consists of a main unit and a detachable sensor with vacuum suction cups, allowing you to securely affix it to any smooth surface. The cable between the main unit and the sensor can be extended, allowing you to be at a distance from the measurement spot. The controls and two-line LCD display with micro-light make it easy to operate the device, whether indoors or in a car's passenger compartment.
The LCD Bass Meter SE is packed with a range of functions to suit various needs. It can display peak values and average levels of sound pressure, as well as measure harmonic distortion coefficients. It also allows you to measure AFC and perform spectral analysis of the signal using the Next-Lab RTA Microphone (sold separately) and measure current-voltage characteristics of direct and alternating current circuits using the Next-Lab Power Sensor (sold separately).
Whether you are setting up home, car, or concert hall acoustic systems, or measuring the characteristics of power supply networks, the LCD Bass Meter SE provides accurate and reliable results. It is also perfect for preparing and holding autosound competitions of any kind, such as AMT, EMMA, dB Drag, IASCA, BassRace, and more.
