The E Series 400 Amp Black Billet GM Truck 05-13 is a high-quality alternator designed specifically for GM trucks from 2005 to 2013. With a custom-built design, this alternator offers superior performance and durability.

Installation of this alternator is straightforward but requires a few considerations. It comes with a smaller 1.75-inch diameter alternator pulley, which means a slightly shorter drive belt is needed for proper belt tension. It is important not to use this alternator above 5,000 RPM engine speed for sustained use. The included instructions provide guidance on finding the correct belt sizes and wiring for installation.

The Elite series of alternators has been redesigned for 2020 to offer the highest possible amperage and durability in a large case alternator. With 6 phase technology, massive twin rectifier assemblies, and 12 diodes, these alternators are built to withstand daily use and deliver 200+ amps even at engine idle speeds.

Unlike OE alternators, the E Series alternators feature a more robust 4 pin style regulator and bypass the RVC charging system found in GM trucks from 2005 onwards. By installing the included 1 wire P101 harness to a tested 12v switched source and plugging in the included P103 module into the vehicle's 2 pin original alternator wiring harness, users can enjoy stable voltage without any extreme fluctuations or computer-controlled swings.
